Having a baby in the Newark & Southwell area?

If you’d like to join our thriving local community and gain support from pregnancy all the way up until your little one turns 18 months old, we would love to meet you.

Whether you’re looking to join us for some antenatal yoga and education on your own, or along with your birthing partner, there is something for everyone.

Our antenatal Daisy Birthing classes are suitable all the way from 14 weeks up until the week your baby is due and run as 6 week terms. Each 90 minute class includes a unique blend of yoga-based movement, active birth antenatal education and a blissful relaxation to help prepare your mind and body for your upcoming birth. They are a great opportunity to meet other local Mums expecting a baby around the same time and we would always recommend you doing the classes as close to due date (within reason!) as possible.

If your birth partner is keen to find out what they can do to support you on your birthing day, our Active Birth workshops are run  a Saturday afternoon towards the end of each 6 week Birthing term.  The workshop complements the Birthing classes wonderfully and gives Mum an opportunity to consolidate all her learning whilst allowing her birth partner to access the same education and leave feeling confident about their role in the birth. In the 4 hour session we will work through what to expect during labour, help you understand what you can do to help Mum with breathing and massage techniques and really focus on what birth partners can do to support Mum and feel prepared for the journey ahead.

If you’d like to take advantage of our combined class discount, just get in touch for more details.

As well as ongoing support from your class teacher and your antenatal group once your little one arrives, we have monthly Daisy baby whatsapp groups and a closed Facebook page, so there’s no shortage of support should you need it.

Our Daisy baby classes are suitable from around 6 weeks old and as an existing Daisy Mum you gain priority booking for these classes (which is great as they usually get booked up pretty quickly!).

Daisy Baby Tinies classes are suitable from 6 weeks – 4 months and are a lovely mix of baby massage, rhyme and music along with some gentle postnatal movement and relaxation for Mums. We keep class sizes small to encourage a relaxed, open and supportive atmosphere in class and the opportunity to get to know the other Mums in class.

Daisy Baby Wrigglers classes are suitable from 4 – 10 months (or up until little one starts to crawl) and include singing and moving to rhymes, as well as gentle stretching for baby during a fun and varied yoga routine.

Once your little one is on the move our Daisy Baby Cruisers classes are more suitable and these are suitable all the way up to 18 months old.

The support you gain throughout your Daisy journey is unbiased and unconditional and we would love to welcome you along to class. If you’re not sure whether it’s for you or you’d just like to find out, please get in touch or head over to our Facebook page to check out our reviews.
