Not sure whether classes are for you?

Sometimes we need to hear what other people have to say before we commit to something so here are some of the many reviews you can find over on my Facebook page The Daisy Foundation – Plymouth & Saltash

“Could not recommend Kate enough! Her calm and friendly energy makes her class so warm and inviting. This still comes across in her online class and left me feeling confident, relaxed and excited to meet my baby. Birth used to be something that terrified me but these classes have enabled me to see that it can be such a positive experience. We also attended the partners workshop which really helped my other half to feel involved and prepared to be part of the birth of our baby.” Courtenay (Oct 2020)

“I cannot thank Kate and her Daisy classes enough for enabling me to have the labour and birth experience I hoped for. Wednesday evenings instantly became my favourite part of each week, where I was able to meet like minded mums (who are now great friends), bond with my bump and to learn how to breathe, relax and take time for me. We planned for a home water birth without pain relief and with the knowledge and encouragement from Kate, our wishes came true. We are very lucky to have Kate leading our Daisy family as she is so immensely invested in what she does. Always smiling and always going the extra mile for us in our new journeys into parenthood. We have continued with her Tinies and Wrigglers classes – still a highlight of our week, although a little noisier now! I highly recommend Daisy and it is the best money that you will spend as an expectant Mum. We cannot wait to do it all over again one day! Thank you so much Kate” Zoe (May 2020)

Welcome to Daisy Plymouth and Saltash!

Hi! My name is Kate and I live in Plymouth with my husband and two children.

I teach a range of classes and workshops from pregnancy to toddlerhood throughout Plymouth and the surrounding area.

Why Daisy?

I loved the experience of being pregnant and during this time I developed a fascination for all things birth! I stumbled upon Daisy completely by accident when my eldest son was 1 and I got made redundant from my role as a retail manager. I was drawn to Daisy for it’s holistic approach, evidence based research and relaxed and empowering classes.

I began my Daisy journey by training to be a Daisy teacher in 2011 and then completed my training to be a fully qualified Perinatal Educator in 2018.

Daisy classes allow me to support parents in the way I wanted to be supported when I became a mum. Non-judgmental, inclusive, friendly and supportive classes where you feel like you are part of a community.

I love the continuity of care that Daisy provides. Being part of the amazing journey from pregnancy to parenthood is a huge privilege.

I look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you into our local Daisy community!
