Daisy Birthing active antenatal classes combine yoga-based movement, antenatal and active birth education, breathing techniques, relaxation and peer-to-peer support.
The classes are a ground breaking, effective and all-encompassing pregnancy class. We aim to help you to learn your antenatal education and active birth techniques in a truly effective way.
Classes are movement based. We practice these movements along with learning about different breathing techniques to help you during your pregnancy and prepare your body for labour.
We also aim to encourage your baby into an optimal position and repeat movements to build muscle memory, so everything is in place for your baby’s birth.
Important class information:
Daisy Birthing classes are for expectant mums only, and suitable to attend from 14 weeks pregnant up until baby’s birth. We can adapt class to suit all pregnancy related conditions and birth plans so the class is suitable for everyone. Whether this is your first or your fifth baby, Daisy Birthing is suitable for you.
Classes are booked in blocks of 6 weeks at a time. However, they are designed to carry you through from the start of your second trimester right up until your baby’s birthing day. We recommend continued attendance if possible, for maximum benefit; although one block of 6 weeks will give you the tools required for birth.
