What makes Daisy Teaching® so different?
When it comes to looking for a career that is flexible enough that it allows you to be at all the school plays, fulfilling enough that it makes it an absolute joy, and broad enough in its offering that it allows you the scope to grow a full-time business, Daisy really does make it possible. Becoming a mother ourselves changes everything from our priorities to our values, and often changes our career aspirations completely. Finding a career that makes such a difference for so many women on their journey to confident motherhood is such a powerful way to honour these changes and contribute to the journey of others.
“Supporting women through this journey is an absolute privilege & I couldn’t feel luckier to be able to do so & to call it ‘work’”.
What do I need to know?
We know as mothers that it can be challenging, overwhelming, isolating and scary to navigate each of the stages of becoming a mum. From the excitement and uncertainty of pregnancy to the birth experience itself, the overwhelm and anxiety of the early days and the deep fatigue and many firsts of the early months and years – it is the single biggest transformational journey in a woman’s life. Being a Daisy Teacher provides the framework for informed choice, connection and confidence for women at every stage on this amazing 1001 day journey of continuous perinatal support to confident motherhood.
Who is Daisy Teaching for?
Peer support is a a key part and requirement of the role of a Daisy Teacher and as such all Daisy Teachers are mothers who have given birth themselves.
Our unique Daisy Teaching method draws on elements across the whole perinatal educator field – from active birth to pregnancy yoga based movement, hypnotic language to antenatal education, baby massage to breastfeeding support, pelvic floor restore to baby yoga – we place the Mother at the heart of what we do and utilise all of our skills to provide her with one complete continuous perinatal support.
We have two recruitment windows per year to invite applications to join our combined antenatal and postnatal teacher training groups. To be kept informed and be one of the first to be invited to apply register to find out more.
